This record is a product of a lot of shit, namely: music school, breaking up, watching the news, all the shit that I’ve learned from Noam Chomsky, solipsism, defiance of solipsism, playing guitar in bed, getting high and watching YouTube videos, Billy Bragg, Bad Religion, the first Front Bottoms record, this quippy priest I used to have, all the books that Mike Lockwood let me borrow, cheap incense, cheap acid, the bar, Discovery Channel docufiction, reactionary and separatist attitudes of gender, left-brain/rite-brain stuff, driving around, sitting on the floor, my dedicated friends, finding new love, folks who believe in me, and folks who believe in everyone else.
